FIU Pre-Veterinary Society

Who We Are
The FIU Pre-Veterinary club is an honors society that gives pre-vet track students, or any animal lovers, a chance to interact with other pre-vets and learn about what to be accepted into vet school.

What We Provide
As a club we give students a chance to network with other veterinarians in the making. We provide opportunities to volunteer, shadow vets, build clinical skills, and learn about vet schools and the steps needed to apply.

Events to Expect
Meetings with speakers including veterinarians and vet school representatives. Expect a number of cool hands-on workshops such as a suture workshop, basic clinical skills workshop, and more! We will also plan socials, such as Zoo Day, participate in Relay for Life, attend the APVMA, offer group volunteering at various locations including DuMond Conservancy and South Florida SPCA, and much more including a possible Disney trip!
